An idea for what to do when you get rained out of the field...

Grpa G built the pond several years ago and stocked it with fish for his grandkids. The trout are about 20 plus inches long and weigh about 4 1/2 pounds. The storm made our hay too wet to bale, so we took a mini vacation...that was nice since Clayton and Allison were visiting for a few days.
They were really biting on little dry flies... Chris releases a fish.

Clayton is fishing in the background.

This is what they were fishing for.

A free fishing lesson from a pro. The water was so clear, and the day so sunny, that they would not bite on a lure...but Chris could catch one almost every cast on flies.
