Late evening drive...

Last night things got a little sad here. Fischer started mentioning mommy and daddy in a very sad voice....Grpa G started calling for Grandma, threw on his bathrobe, bare feet and all and we jumped in the car and headed down the road. We wanted to keep things from getting to the point of no return!! Fischer immediately cheered up, watched the rabbits, the antelope, and the cows in the headlights, then was asleep before we got 3 miles away. We tucked him in bed and he slept til 7 am!!....just a little update from the ranch ;)...thank goodness we didn't have time for pictures!!

Thursday's pictures

Kate's boys...
Looks like cousin Allison is lining Fischer's face up for the picture!!

Fischer is learning how to hold a baby. We were practicing tonight at Grma Susie's house with a little doll and he was doing real well!
We think they will come home Friday.

Bath time, for the FIRST time!!

What we did today...

These pictures are backwards in sequence...I am too lazy to start all over! Kate and Baby Hazen.
The new little man.
When we came back, the delivery was all over and dad was in the nursery taking pictures and watching the bath.

Our day began early. We left home at 5:15. We picked Fischer up at the hospital and took him out to breakfast.

Sightseeing....

Mom and dad were checking out the Snake River the first night...
Old Faithful Inn always facinates us. We HAD to stop, even if it was raining buckets. This was nice for the forest fire that it slowed, but bad for viewing the scenery.
Old Faithful was getting ready to go off, it really started pouring right before it got going.

Mother Nature sure does a nice job landscaping!!
We saw elk and buffalo....no bears.

Sunday company...

Little A. is sitting quite ladylike... While the boys are rounding up the horses...
They were all quite ready for lunch when we "finally" got it on the table!!

Summer trip..

Grpa G and I took a lunch and a drive for a couple of hours Saturday....you fly fishermen will recognise the river and the rock formations that you floated past often in a former life ....before having a full time job interfered with your hobby, and your summer job was guiding fishermen.

This is Aspen Alley, famous in the fall for the golden beauty of the aspens. This year they suffered from a early summer freeze and aren't as green and lush as some years.

Something interesting on a common day....

Every year we get frogs down in our sprinkler valve pit. Grandpa takes the "reacher thing" and picks them out and puts them back in the creek behind the house.
Here is froggie # 3. Waiting to be moved....

The end of another beautiful day...

The sunsets are extra pretty with the moisture and smoke in the air this summer.
Alisa captured these a couple of nights ago.

A wedding....

My niece was married Friday. We had a beautiful day.
The family.
The wedding party.

My grandkids that were able to attend... Waiting for the reception, the grandkids found a fisherwoman and her kids, so that kept them entertained.
