At Grandma and Grandpa's house....

This canoe has lots of life in it still....no worries about sinking on the front lawn. Going with Grandpa to check water.

Checking out the tricycle....

We have not had many nice days yet. It was warm enough to eat outside at noon, then started clouding up and getting really cold.

Another adventure with Grandpa...

A very snowy....Snowy range!

I thought this sign was appropriate! We took a drive about 40 miles from our house the other day. It has snowed again several times, and snow is forecast for this Wednesday and Thursday. The snow removal equipment is lined up here on the weekend. They try to have the road open by Memorial Day each year. The dozers scrape the snow up in rows and the rotaries chew it up and blow it to the side.

This is one of the rotary snow plows they chew the snow up with.

The end of the road!

We took a few pictures at Ryan Park. Just a path shoveled into the house and shed.

The highway is that-a-way.

More snow.

Just a path for car and people.

There is smoke coming out of the chimney here.

Another view.

WW I Museum...final installment of our visit to K City

We had not been to the World War I museum, there were several things to do in that area, so away we went! You will need to click twice on this picture to read the words around the base of the tower. The lower entrance.

The tower...we rode in an elevator to the top.

It is waaaay up there!

There is a famous poem about the poppies in Flanders Fields. There was a glass walkway over this field of poppies as you entered the museum.

The view from the top.

VERY invigorating...just a bit cool!

Lunch at Fritz's....

This eating place is at the Crown Center/Union Station area. It is all about trains. The kids get engineer hats, the food comes delivered by a train that goes around the top of the room on a little track. It is a busy place, so Jace and Rory are teaching Grpa G how to play Angry Birds on mom's phone while we wait.

Mom orders food on the phone...

These 2 videos are out of sequence, but you get the idea of the food delivery!

More from the middle...

What is it about little boys...and pockets...and rocks???? The path in the dog park had such nice rocks on the path!

Giving Jazz a goodbye hug!
