I never get tired of taking pictures of the mountain and the fall leaves.

We got out and walked in the forest and saw this sign. I think it used to be where sheepherders put out salt when they had sheep on the national forest. The reason for the closeup...which you can't read...is signatures of folks from the nearest town. One of the dates we read was 1949. we recognised quite a few of the names, and couldn't read quite a few!


Some must have used it for target practice, also.
