Remember that attempted burn last fall by the Game and fish and a professional fire crew, that didn't burn anything? George and Chris decided the conditions were right, a little wind, lots of dry grass, and snow to stop the fire. So they burned for 3 days or so, they got a lot burned.
The professionals wanted to get in on it for one day. 2 men came from Firetrax, helped some, and sent a bill for $6000. That is the way these government grants work, I guess. Chris and George worked for free, donated some diesel and hours. A lot of grass and renewed sage should result. We got nice snow on top of it.
