Scenes from the ranch...

My tulips finally are blooming...the lilacs are a couple of weeks off. Summer comes late and is short here, so we enjoy it while we can.

The semis park out on the county road as the yard doesn't have enough room for more than 3 at a time to back up and turn around. Three are in the yard right now.They started weighing yearlings and loading about 7 am. Which means, breakfast at 5:30, and getting them in at 6:30. These yearlings have been fed hay for a couple of months and are now going out on grass for the summer. The brown horses are pretty against the green grass.
