Yes, the signs of spring are not showing today...last night it was 2 degrees at bedtime, and the road was about drifted shut because of a snowstorm with wind that came Sunday.Chris is moving the older calves (several days old) and their mothers to the next pasture. They start out in the shed, dry and out of the weather. They progress to outside, and if their moms take good care of them, they move on to the next pasture. These moms are heifers, which means they are having their first calf....they need some tutoring, sometimes, to be good mothers.
