We hope to be branding in these corrals in about a month...they are deep in snow for now. George went to check the gates to this pasture...what gates? You can't see most of them, so the calves just walk over the fences. You can see the snowmachine track...we are still using that mode of transportation to check pastures, etc.
The blackbirds are a sign of spring that we look for each year. They were singing in the tree tops this morning.

Yay Blackbirds!!! I have been hearing the Cardinals and seeing the Robins here. I hope spring makes a roaring entry in your neck of the woods!
