Frosty sunbeams!

We woke to a beautiful, frosty morning here. The temperature was -5 degrees and all the people, animals, tractors, and chimneys were putting out white puffs of steam. The trees, fences, and grasses were coated with winter sparkles. I tried to capture a frozen rainbow against the fog, but it just looked like another bright spot in the day! It is wonderful if you can stay inside by the fire. Chris is digging out haystacks and cattle guards for GrpaG with the backhoe. They will spend extra time today so they can get done before 10 am on Sunday.
The date on the pictures is wrong. The batteries fell out of my camera the other day, and I didn't think to reset the date.

Wow - the frozen north looks pretty frosty. Hope Chris didn't catch a cold after thawing out in TX and coming back to the cold country!

As a matter of fact he did! They had to miss mtg this morning because they were all coughing so bad!
