Snowy Sunday morning

2 families had to cancel this morning because of roads and snow. Slick highways towards Laramie, and 4-6" at Encampment. The cat outside looking in... My wood wagon...

Late fall pictures....

The clouds today have rainbows along the edges...maybe you can see them if you click. I looked it up and it is ice crystals in the cirrus clouds (caused by wind). The crystals are large enough to refract the light rather than scatter it. The way the wind is blowing, I am sure the snow is going straight up into the clouds!!The other day, the snow came with such force from the side, that it drove the snow into the pine trees...kind of pretty!

We have had some beautiful sunrises...

These deer were outlined on the skyline...

I brought them up close with the zoom.

This fellow was posing.

He looks good coming AND going!

Where did the time go??

May...Late June..

May...

May...

This was not so very long ago...July, maybe? Moving cattle across the green bridge, watching the trout jump.... August

Thinking and enjoying the beauty.

Gathering cattle...September.

Last week....

The 1st of October...

October 25 fall is over, on to winter. Almost every night, the mountains turn pink as the sun sets.

The end...

It is raining hard this afternoon...it is actually pouring! There is not a puff of wind. It is an ideal time to have a big fire without worrying about it spreading. The grass all around it is soaking wet. You can see the 2 "firemen" inspecting the job!

Grandpa George cleans house....

If you let your house get like this...and move away.... and leave all the junk behind...all over the floors, in every room

Grandpa George might get a trackhoe and his helpers....

dig a deep hole on one side, and drive around to the other side....

And do this!

I'm going to go clean my house now! :)

What a beautiful time of year!

Ed and Brenda are staying here for a few days. The trees are so pretty right now...
The other day the jet streams were everywhere.

Cooking a hamburger...maybe the last picnic of the year. Only 4 of us. Lots of peace and quiet, beautiful trees all around.

The guys like to do the cooking when it is outside...I like it whenever they want to cook!
