Family time

 Cousin Laurel has been in the far east, is passing through on the way to South America for 3 months.  Her mom, my aunt, is enjoying this week with her and visiting some family.

This is a lamp like the 10 virgins used in the Bible story.  Laurel told us about how they were used to bring light to a house and see where a person was going.   The 5 foolish were hoping someone else had taken time and money to buy the oil so everyone could have light.  It is so interesting as we have no real  idea what it was talking about. We just use a flashlight, or flip on the electric lights.  Houses over there still have no lights or windows in some places.
