| We came home from Scotts to find sootballs and residue all around the heater ducts in the house. Obviously, something was wrong with the furnace. It has blown out in strong winds all of its life. We had to worry and have someone check it anytime we were gone in the winter. We had a new efficient one installed right after the New Year. Now no worries. |

| We went up to Jeff's for a few days. Sadly, this was the only picture I took. Guess we were too busy visiting and George enjoyed going with Jeff as he went about his work. |

| Cousin Laurel newly back from the Mediterranean area came to visit a few days. Her car and tires didn't fare well in our snowy country. She did make it to the next town safely. The roads were terrible with limited visibility, blowing and drifting snow, and slick....our usual for this time of year. |

| George got busy with the snow blower so folks could get in Sunday morning. It seemed to blow back in as fast as he blew it out!! |
