Nebraska and Wyoming meet the alligators.

Early February

We crossed this bridge going to special meeting in St Petersburg.  Some of our Nebraska friends met us there and came on home with us.
We arranged a sightseeing trip up the Peace river.  Here at Langley marina, there is a man who sells eating shrimp and bait shrimp 2 days per week, til he sells out.  He was all sold out when we got there, and we were early.

We did see dolphins playing in the wake of the boat at one point.

We saw quite a few alligators.  They would slip silently into the water when we pulled up in the boat.
What big teeth you have Mr alligator!!
This picnic table was at the Nav-i-Gator restaurant on the Peace River.  It was kind of a dive, but had good seafood!

No room for more pelicans!  They are watching for fish.

We passed a rookery of these Wood Storks.

Blue crabs on the dock.
Headed back to the marina.
So interesting to see the semi loads of oranges being unloaded at a juice concentrating facility.
More orange unloading.

Thanks for coming!
