The end-- Auction October 19

The last time  mom will ever mow her lawn here at the home place.  She parked the mower in the lineup and it sold at auction.  Mom has lived at this place most of the last 70 years. At 80 she felt she should move while she could and she loves to think of the family moving in there.  They will have a wonderful place to raise their 4 children.  Beautiful yard, trees, garden, house, sheds, place to play.  It is hard to say goodbye, though.  She has moved to the town where 2 daughters live, so will have family close.

The son-in-laws worked for weeks to get all the machinery running and lined up for the auction.  These were antique fertilizer spreaders.  People like them for yard decorations.

We had quite a snow the day before the auction. We were hoping the weatherman knew what he was talking about when he said it would be nice on Saturday.

Lining things up.

Aunt Leta and Kevin.

Mom, grandkids and friends.

Family came and lent support.

Ty and Chris and boys looking over the stuff.
