By the Sea again October 26

The Long Beach Peninsula drew us again. Lacey and mom flew out and spent the week after the auction with us.
We stopped for the night at J and A's.  Jace's note was so sweet wanting us to stop back by...we could NOT miss stopping again!

Such a neat sculpture and fountain at the Bonneville dam and fish hatchery east of Portland.

                                                      So many beautiful mushrooms!

Sunset through the sea oats.

Jogging on the beach=fun times!

Lacey, George, and Buddy.

Beautiful sunsets.

The path to the beach always beckons
Now the path is marked from the beach.  The sand has drifted in so much, that the old marker is quite aways back and hard to see.  The former owner said she could throw a rock to the beach when they bought the house 30 years ago.

Buddy is happy to be at the beach.

This flower was on a bush at the front door.

Some friends from Washington took George and Lacey crabbing one morning.  They got all 5 limits.  12 crab each. That is a lot of crab to clean, but Oh, so delicious!

The view behind the boat.  Lacey's first boat ride on the ocean.  Brave girl!

Full crab traps.

Cleaning 24 crab.
