Moving the HAYING CREW

Nice thing about this crew, they take care of all their meals themselves!

Notice the dust coming up in the distance.
The middle states in the USA are having the worst drought since 1956.  Many ranches are selling off their cattle because of dried up pasture, no hay, and no water to drink.  Farmers' crops are withering, so corn and wheat prices are going up very high.  We are shipping 4000 yearling heifers 2 months early this year.  Their owner will put them in a feed lot where they can get fed.  Get ready for beef prices to go up because of lower numbers of cattle.

Nice to catch up with your last few posts, Susie. It has been a dry year, which does make it so hard to keep up with feed for the cattle. We finished combining wheat this year about the time we sometimes start the combines. Take care
