Springtime in the Snowies

Grpa G has lots of photo opportunities when he is out irrigating. These wild iris areas have lots of buds not opened yet. They will be a sea of purple next week. This is NOT a good thing from a rancher point of view as cows do not eat them and they take water and nutrients from the grass.

Another view of Elk Mtn through the wildflowers....or are they weeds??

Wow, your wild flowers grow prettier than any I try to grow at my house! The beautiful background scenery really makes a pretty picture. karen
