December trip to Florida

We left on Monday Dec 14 as a blizzard was forecast. We were to fly out Wednesday Dec 16 from Denver. Jeff and Lisa are flying from Casper to Australia that same day. We stayed with mom at Lusk. Jeff's kids are going to Florida  with us. Mom was having special meeting company. We enjoyed her special meeting company with her.                                                             The roads past Chugwater were terrible slick. The interstate was closed for several days. It opened an hour or so before we left.
We got to the parking after dark. It was so cold!
In the airport. A midnight flight, arriving 5:30 am.
Waiting from 7 pm for our flight at midnight. We went early as we didn't know how the roads would be.
Sunny, warm, Florida!!
                                                                 Taking a ride with grandpa.
Went to the beach the first afternoon.
Florida avocado. Pretty, huge, and tasteless!!

Chris sent us pictures of what is going on at home. 20 plus inches at home. 30" at Owens.

November

A snowy day.
Thanksgiving break. Larkin and I played more games than I have played in my whole life!!
Allison got her deer the last day.
She had a hunt with both grandpas. Once in a lifetime privilege.
Karen's kids were all there for Thanksgiving.
Good family picture of Jeff and Lisa's family.
Karen and Dave's house. A beautiful remodel.
Pres had a valve replacement in Denver at Anshutz hospital.
The horses enjoyed my green lawn while I left the gate open.

December 2015

The wind was causing some strange clouds today.
Jeff's got to visit Pres and Nelda the day before special meeting.
Beautiful sunrise. Watch out for terrible wind.
Dusty and Fischer spent the night with us. Hazen had to have 2 pins put in his thumb in Laramie.

Such good helpers clearing out the old plants in the greenhouse.

West again October 16 - 29

We drove out to Ocean Park. Mom went with us. Projects were to strip and paint the front and back decks. Got started and finished before the rain. Then it rained and rained. We then hung more pictures in the Hidden Treasure vacation rental, and did some work there between guests. Mom painting the cracks in the deck.
Mom helping George hang pictures.
Table too heavy to carry up and down stairs. George hung it from the top balcony while we stripped and stained the deck.
Stripping and staining the lattice and stairs. It really made them look nice.

A bear track behind the house on the trail to the beach.
Power washing the deck.
These flowers were so pretty around the front deck.
Sunset on the Columbia River.

The cowboys.
The kids laid their clothes out the night before so they wouldn't be late.
Jeremy and Amy and boys were here for the cattle drive. This coon had been stealing tomatoes from the greenhouse. It was very exciting to find him in the live trap the morning after we set it.
Colorful picture after raking leaves and jumping in the pile.

Late September

Loren Entz came and stayed at Jeff's for a few days and rode out with them to get some "inspiration". Looks like he got some!

I went up and stayed with mom while George went hunting elk in Montana. We went out to Jeff's and they cooked a picnic by Old Woman Creek. Must have been a man who named all these creeks.

Moving the cows. 17 miles to the Platte River pasture.
Grandpa had lots of help replacing rotten boards in the deck.
