We left on Monday Dec 14 as a blizzard was forecast. We were to fly out Wednesday Dec 16 from Denver. Jeff and Lisa are flying from Casper to Australia that same day. We stayed with mom at Lusk. Jeff's kids are going to Florida with us. Mom was having special meeting company. We enjoyed her special meeting company with her.
The roads past Chugwater were terrible slick. The interstate was closed for several days. It opened an hour or so before we left.
We got to the parking after dark. It was so cold!
In the airport. A midnight flight, arriving 5:30 am.
Waiting from 7 pm for our flight at midnight. We went early as we didn't know how the roads would be.
