Summer is pretty much over. We had brandings this week. 2 way out along the North Platte River only reachable by Ranger or horseback. Jeff and his girls and a fellow from Austrslia came over to help and pick up Claytons horses. A bunch of neighboring cowboys came too. No big meal, so Geo hauled out sandwich makings with the branding supplies. 
George tending the branding stove. One of Jeff's men got hurt in a local rodeo , a brain stem injury, so Jeff had to do his job while the flight for life took Clay to Casper. A bucking Bronx t boned Clays horse, tipped it over, and he fell on his head. 
Clayton has been helping Chris and staying with us all summer. We are missing him since he went home yesterday.
