June 21. Heading to Cody

This picture was one of the last times that all my kids were together with us at the same time it was June 2015. We got a nice family picture that year! We were all together at Nelda's funeral in December, but didn't think of it while we were all together.
The morning started out so hopefully....... But ......
Plans change.
George had said "I'll be home in a half hour to leave." I had everything in the camper and truck all ready to go. Then when he was setting his last irrigation dam, George slipped on some mossy concrete slabs in the creek, fell and hit his back on a piece of concrete. He couldn't walk, he was able to call on the cell phone, he was way down a bumpy road,  we had to call the ambulance.
They had to carry him across the creek. 2 highway patrol, 3 Sherriff, and 3 ambulance people came. 3 men from the TA came riding up on horseback.
They tested for blood in the urine. There was none, so sent him home. They said he must have just bruised the muscle. We aren't crazy about Rawlins hospital. They don't have a good reputation, but are the closest. He can hardly walk. Hope they are right.
5 days later when George could finally limp around on crutches, he and Clayton visited the scene of the accident. Here is the pointed rock that pierced the muscle in his back. No bruise or mark on the outside.
