Way out west

Barges on the Columbia. The Astoria Bridge.
There were 10 freighters tied and waiting for cargo. I couldn't get all of them in the picture.
We took a walk to the beach.
The hydrangeas behind the house are so pretty. They dry up and are pretty then too.
Chinook marina. Lots of activity.
Hundreds of salmon fishing boats fishing is not too good, though.
We bought fresh blueberries from a stand.
George and I put out 60 bags of red bark. Ouch!!
This is the after picture.
Whales at the Astoria bridge. So much bait fish coming up the river that the salmon aren't hungry either.
Whales showing off. They haven't tipped any boats over yet.
