| The day started out ice covered from our trip yesterday. |
I have never been on Interstate 90 from Billings west to Ellensburg, WA. It took 12 hours of constant driving. Thank goodness the roads were dry. We crossed the Columbia river on a bridge east of Ellensburg...never did that before. We always go to the west coast via I-84 on the south side of the Columbia...that is shorter, but we needed to take this route to pick up some things this time. At first, the mountains were SO beautiful...as the hours wore on, the curvy, up hill and down hill road got kind of tiresome. George commented to me how good the dog was in her cage...never complained a bit!! Was he hinting??
The frost covered windshield was kind of pretty.
Lots of pretty mountain scenes in Montana.
There has been a lot of snow here, not just yesterday!
It would have been slick if the temp was colder here. It was 8 degrees for a long ways today.
One of the 3 states we went through was Idaho.
A good way to end the loooong day! A bed and breakfast in Ellensburg, WA.

15 pillows on the bed! We had our pick!
