Chris's dog got bit by this snake this morning. When Chris saw it, he shouted to lay down, but Dot lay down right by the snake, which reared up and bit her by the eye. Kate, the boys and I took Dot to the vet where she will stay a few days. Here are the rattles, which are about the largest we have ever seen.
This was one of the bigger snakes we have ever seen.
