Where are Grpa and Grma now?

We are at the Safari Club International Convention in Reno, NV today. This fellow is from Idaho and the 2 front pairs of chaps are made of elephant hide. You could buy an elephant hide flyswatter for a much lower price of $20! We didn't need one quite that bad. We were afraid to ask what the chaps cost.

These were made from highlander cowhide...that is a very hairy, shaggy type of cow.

There were beautiful mounts everywhere...and lots of people, of course.

These are African cats.

One thing that amazed me was the displays that were set up. Whole mini forests complete with lions and big cats, elephants, giraffes, and all sorts of elk and western type animals. We walked "gingerly" into the motel tonight. It rained and snowed today, and now it has frozen..quite a skating rink!
