Last week I put some pictures of the sage chickens strutting on the blog. Dorlene has a really good closeup video on her blog. Last night we went out to try and get some pictures in the snow. The chickens weren't there, but their tracks were. They had been out Sunday morning after the snow storm. The sage chickens have used this area for their spring strutting grounds forever....100's of years probably. They are right on the county road, and they stay out all night until about 8 am.

Grandpa G has to dig through the snow drifts to get wood for the woodstove.
I
I am a little hard up for pictures that aren't snow related :(
