Puppy tales....

Watching mom take care of the pups.

Our travel companions.

We made a trip half way to meet Amy and the boys with a puppy.  Amy was watching the weather and helped pick the day..good thing, the highways have been closed for the past 4 days.  We got home just in time!

Heading home Feb 13....

Rhododenderon blooming in front of the house.

The ocean isn't swimmable here, too dangerous.
Jazz played so hard on the beach, she wore the pads on her feet out.  May have cut herself on a shell.  Got some medicine.

Great to see Angie and Joy...last saw Angie 10 yrs ago in WY.

Beautiful mtn on the road heading home.

Couldn't see part of the way.
Had to put the truck in 4 wheel drive to pull down the county road.
All is white here!  Elk Mtn is behind those clouds.  No place like home, though.  We love it.

Saturday

George was visiting this fisherman on the beach this morning.  He caught a sea perch in the surf.

Then Chris called to say he and Owen had run down and treed a mountain lion with his cow dogs.

Different country out here

A beautiful morning view on our walk.

                     From the beach
From the bedroom window.

This looks like something out of Dr Suess.  There are ferns and moss everywhere.
