A few favorites from last week...

Enjoying the day in Cozumel to the last.  There were 4 cruise boats in.

We got off the ship in great time Friday, then had to wait and wait for the shuttle, it was on time.
Jace drew a picture of the ship.
                                                              On Mr Sanchos Beach.
Jeff and Lisa hired a jeep to explore Cozumel.  Grandma S, Allison and Larkin went with.
Back seat of the open top jeep....resting on Grandma's lap.

End of October beginning of November

Fischer and hazen dipping pretzels in chocolate
A guy has to taste test to make sure it is good.
Uncle Bruce came to engineer the rocklaying project at Chris's house.  Grandpa G makes the cement.
Chris and Bruce planning the next layer of river rock.
Picking the rocks off the lawn next spring might be a heavy job!!
Rory catching snowflakes on his tongue.

After it really got snowy,  making cotton candy with Grandpa G.
About 5 minutes after everyone ate their cotton candy, the noise level was deafening!  Sugar caused?

Grandpa G chasing those pesky beaver.
He tears out the dams so the meadows are not all flooded and iced up this winter.  Good fun using the trackhoe.,,,a very useful "big boy toy".

Before the storm...

Remember that joyous feeling of jumping in the crunchy fall leaves??
The grandsons were enjoying it to the full today.  It was a balmy 65 degrees, a storm forcast tomorrow.

George was repairing a dike and headgate on a lake and these creatures were all over the place.

                                                              More leaf jumping.
I don't have to rake leaves, the wind piles them behind the next house!

On the wild side....

We saw this "herd" of small coons running down our road toward us this afternoon.  When they saw us, they turned tail and ran the other way!  Click twice.
They really kicked up their heels and ran...fast!
I got close enough to 2 of them to get a picture.

A snowy Saturday...

Saturday was one of those days when you just want to stay inside by the fire.

It was a good day to NOT be a horse...
 or an old bull skull....
 or a purple viola!
