Another COLD day in Wyoming....

The mountain turns pink as the sun is setting.
After I took this picture, the temp went on down to -33.6. Ryan Park 40 miles from here had -50 and Woody 5 miles north of us had -40 this morning.

Reading with Grandpa G

The boys enjoy a good story with Grandpa.

Going to town..

Just your normal "going to town" day, on a windy, snowy, limited visibility day. The next vehicle ahead of us is shrouded in the snow. The speed limit is down to 45, and you hope everyone is obeying it.

Elk Mtn looks fluffy as the wind whips the snow on top.

A drive down Rattlesnake road...

The antelope are hardy animals. They paw throught the snow, and also eat sagebrush. They like to graze on the slopes that the winds have bared off.

A frosty view of Elk Mtn.

Chris's helpers. They catch a ride in the bale feeder on the way home. Click once.

Thursday

This was the highway today. The sun warmed the highway, the snow blew across, melted, then froze for 20 plus miles. The snowfences change the pattern of the snow. The snow is higher than the fences now. The road behind the fence is bare of snow for the length of the snow fence. This is in the Bosler to Wheatland country.

More family times....

Scott and Renee and boys.
Trying to all look at the camera at once.

Hard to get grownups to all smile at the same time, too!

Cousinly snuggles.

Cute Jace.

These elk were right behind the house on the hill.
